Object of the Game

Be the player who BANKs the most points by the end of the selected number of rounds.

Starting Out

  • Enter every player’s name on the BANK app’s Players screen.
  • Choose a scorekeeper, called the BANKER, to manage the BANK game app.
  • Each player needs access to two dice for their turn.
  • Choose 10, 15, or 20 rounds. Most people play 20.

Getting the Game Rolling

  1. The first player rolls both dice at once and calls out the total. For example, a 2 on one die plus a 3 on the other equals 5 points.
  2. The BANKER enters that number on the app’s score pad.
  3. The next player rolls and does the same thing.

Most people sit around a table and rotate turns sequentially in a clockwise direction.

Important Dice Rules

As each player rolls, the BANKER adds the roll to the shared BANK total.

Rolling a 7

During the first three rolls of a round, a 7 is worth 70 BANK points. Starting with the fourth roll, a 7 ends the round.

Rolling doubles

During the first three rolls, doubles add only the face value of the dice: two 1s add 2 points, and two 5s add 10 points. Starting with the fourth roll, doubles double the cumulative BANK score.

The first three rollers therefore have an advantage when they roll a 7, but a disadvantage when they roll doubles. From the fourth roll onward, the usual high-risk rules apply: a 7 ends the round, while doubles multiply the BANK.

Scoring

Calling BANK

At any point, any player can call out “BANK,” regardless of whose turn it is. This automatically pauses the game.

The BANKER selects the BANK tile in the app and then selects the name of the player who called BANK. The current shared BANK total is added to that player’s personal score.

  • There is no limit to how many players may claim the score currently shown in the BANK.
  • After a player BANKs, they sit out the rest of that round. They may no longer roll or call BANK during that round.
  • Each player may only BANK points once per round.
  • A player who does not call BANK during a round adds no points to their personal score that round. Points saved in earlier rounds remain unchanged.
  • The shared BANK continues to grow while at least one player has not BANKed and no one has rolled a 7.

Ending a Round

A round ends when someone rolls a 7 after the first three rolls, or when every player has BANKed their points. Begin another round and continue until the selected 10, 15, or 20 rounds have been played.

At the start of each new round, every player regains the ability to roll and call BANK.

Ending the Game

After the selected number of rounds, the player with the highest personal BANK score wins.
